It is "THE WORLD'S GREATEST AVIATION CELEBRATION" and the annual
gathering of the Experimental Aircraft Association. Take-offs and
landing, exceed 10 000 during this week.
Criss Sturdevant and Werner Juretzko, officers of the national
board of the Cold War Museum were presenters/speakers at several
forums. They also maned the COLD WAR MUSEUM display booth at this
prestiges show.
Since being members of the Rotary Club Des Plaines, the Rotary
logo was vividly displayed at the centers booth. One of the clubs
support is being directed at the Des Plaines Rotary Club,
Cold War Museum History Educational Project.
An impressive number of visitors from throughout the world, had
noticed Rotary's Logo at this air show, which led to their interest, to
acquiring the nature of Rotaries present at this world show.
